Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B with a distinctive mix. The singer's career has taken her from Broadway to European concerts and festivals and even to at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. Although she is a resident of Atlanta at present, Sunshine comes from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she began her career as a musician by singing and playing at the church in town. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You the House, came out only in Japan. It's been remixed numerous times and is the mainstay of her live shows. She has also contributed her vocals on The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. She was named the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award winner) offered her a position as director of the choral section of Dreamgirls in Atlanta during the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous during the four daily performances in 2008. Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing at Barack Obama's 2009 Inauguration.
