Angie Harmon is an American model and actress who has appeared in number of TV and film series through the years. Initially she was a professional model and after gaining international fame she made her foray into acting. She started her acting career on the TV show "Baywatch Nights" which premiered in 1995. Harmon has also performed voice acting and has been the voice of an animated version of the film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. In the early 2000, Harmon decided to focus only on film and stopped doing TV shows. Her return to acting in TV series came following a couple of movies. The year 2008 was the time she was among of the very few actresses to pose discreetly nude in the magazine 'Allure.' The role as Detective Jane Rizzoli was her most notable work on the TNT show Rizzoli & Isles. The show was praised for her work as an officer in the police force. Angie Harmon has been nominated for numerous times over the years, and has won few awards for her outstanding performances.
