Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American actor and model who has appeared on a variety of movies and television shows throughout her professional career. Initially she worked as a professional model and after gaining international fame she made her first attempt at acting. She started her as an actor in the year 1995 on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights'. Harmon also performs voice acting and voice-overs. Harmon made the decision in 2000 to focus on film work and not work on TV series. In the early 2000s, Harmon returned to television series after a short stint on film. The year 2008 saw her being one of only a few actresses who posed discreetly naked in 'Allure Magazine'. Her most well-known role is her part in the role of detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles.' In her capacity as Detective Jane, she was very well-respected and was awarded awards.
